Welcome to the country of "la dolce vita"! Italy is a beautiful destination with many natural and historical resources, historic monuments and cities, beautiful scenery and fabulous food. Italy consists of the Po river valley, the italian peninsula and Sardinia and Sicily, the two largest islands in the Mediterranean.

Italy experiences both Mediterranean (in the coastal area) and continental type (in the interior) of a climate.

Italy has a great diversity going from the frigid in the higher elevations of the Alps and Apennines, to the semitropical along the neverlasting coast. The temperature, however, is balanced the year round and there is not much fluctuation
